Public Preschool Backpack Distribution August 2011 The Lincoln County Child Abuse Prevention Council, with sponsorship provided by Wal-Mart Distribution Center provided our Rethink Your Reaction drawstring backpacks to students in the North Platte Public Schools Preschool Program and Headstart. The bags contained school supplies for the students as well as some parenting information and community resources for the parents. This is the third year the Council has provided this service. Approximately 175 backpacks were distributed during the first week of school. |
